Maximizing Rep

When invading Wildlands the amount of rep you get from the attack is dependant on the number of troops you send. The fewer troops you send the more rep you will get. There is a maximum amount of rep you get per level. For example the maximum rep you get from a level 5 Wildland is 2160-which you get if you send 1050 or fewer troops. If you send 1000 you still get 2160, 1100 and you get 2100 or so. So basically to maximize the rep you get you want to send the fewest amount of troops you can without taking losses. It may only be an extra couple of hundred rep per attack, but it adds up.

Rep gaining tips,
Just a few notes for rep gaining. Wildlands are an excellent source of rep, especially those without archers. Troops are expensive, you want to make what little troops you have last as long as possible. Archers are brilliant, they have a first strike attack that allow them to one shot, deal 50% damage to an enemy without taking damage in the first round (unless facing archers then both you and the enemy will take damage). For the rep part we can see that it is worthwhile to use less troops, but to one shot with that less archers is difficult. That aside, keep this in mind when you try to maximize rep gaining, to send only as much archers as necessary to one shot.

Looking at wildlands, it is best to stick to ones without archer, even if you go a bit far out. Its worthwhile to go up to 15 minutes from your city since any more its better to hit some wildlands with one archers unit and rebuild, and any less you won’t have enough wildlands to hit. But its often better to save your resources and build up your city instead of building troops to trade in for rep. once you can hit lvl 7 wildlands and up your rep gain per day will increase dramatically.

Lastly, keep track of what you have hit, the ones you have hit will have a chance to be refilled with no archers in an hour’s time. Chances are low but its worth a try.
